Kick Ass Corporate Associate

Are you interested in leveraging your experience as a corporate attorney to assist in the development of international social enterprise and impact investing?  Campbell Law Group is the leading law firm focused on impact investing and social enterprise.  In the last year, we worked with clients in 10 countries, assisting with impact capital transactions totaling nearly $75 million in the aggregate.

 

Our workflow has been steadily increasing, and over the next three years we expect to have 5-10 lawyers across the U.S., as well as a robust international network of partner firms (we currently have partner firms in India and the U.K.).

 

Requirements for the position are as follows:
  • Open mind and heart.
  • 2-5 years experience in corporate and securities law at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Experience working with startup clients on corporate formations and financing transactions.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Entrepreneurial personality.
  • Demonstrated interest in business as a vehicle for social change.
Bonuses:
  • Fund formation experience.
  • International experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Cantonese or Russian.

We would prefer a candidate qualified to practice law in Colorado who can work in Boulder, Colorado.  We would also consider working remotely with attorneys licensed in and located in either California or New York.

Compensation:

Compensation commensurate with experience, and includes significant non-cash compensation in the forms of fun and personal fulfillment.  No big firm salaries here, but also no big firm billable expectations.
